S2A Modular Homes Is A Legitimate Company

S2A modular homes is a legitimate company. The company is based out of California but now has factories throughout the United States.

John Roland, the president and co-founder of S2A Modular, has been in the building industry for more than 30 years. The goal of S2A Modular is to change the home construction world by making homes that are built faster, less expensive, and more environmentally friendly.

S2A Modular has factories and facilities in California, Texas, Florida, and Wisconsin and plans to expand inside and outside the United States.

What Makes S2A Modular Different?

One of the things that many people want to understand is what makes S2A a modular different than other modular home builders. In other words, why is there so much hype and talk about this modular home builder?

John Roland, the founder, has said that three things he feels will help impact the archaic world of home construction by making homes faster, less expensive, and more environmentally friendly.

We all know that a housing market shortage has continued to drive prices up in many parts of the United States and the world. In some areas, housing is over-inflated.

S2A Modular In Making Homes Faster

I have been in manufacturing my entire adult life. So I am a fan of manufactured products and manufactured homes. I believe there are things that can be done in the factory that will be challenging to do on-site.

At S2A Modula factories, Roland says there will be multiple lines, each with about 100 skilled workers. It is estimated that each factory working with only one shift can produce about 500 homes to 1000 homes per year.

In other words, as the factory’s production lines become more efficient and effective, the factories will be able to produce more homes quicker and more efficiently.

As S2A modular is still entirely new, we do not have the data to show how many homes they are presently producing, but we do know that they have an ambitious plan for each factory to be able to produce thousands of homes.

If they continue building factories and producing 1000 homes a year, this will hugely impact the housing market and the housing crisis as we know it now.

S2A Modular On Building Less Expensive Homes

Everyone in manufacturing understands that the more you produce a particular product or item, the easier it becomes to produce. This economic term is known as the economy of scale.

If you need to cut 100 pieces of the same window or 1 piece, it is more efficient to cut the 100 pieces. The more your workers repeat the same task, the more efficient they should become at it.

The economy of scale is when companies have a cost advantage when production becomes efficient because the cost can spread over a larger amount of goods and production. In building homes in a factory, economies of scale should take place, and it should be cheaper and less expensive to build the home inside the factory than onsite.

Depending on where you live in the United States and how expensive the land is, their homes could be a cheaper option, or they may come out to be more expensive similar to what you can get locally.

S2A Modular On Building More Environmentally friendly homes

One thing that S2A Modular is striving to do is to build homes that are more environmentally friendly or homes with zero net carbon. What S2A Modular does have is many upgrades and green technology built into the homes.

Here are a few ways they are looking to manufacture environmentally friendly homes:

One of the great things about S2A modular is that they have a ton of great floorplans that you can choose from. If you don’t like their floor plans, they will be happy to do a custom one for you.

We feel that this is a company that needs to be watched. We love the concept of building traditional-looking homes inside a factory that is also energy efficient. We love the idea that you can also have enough electricity in your home to charge your vehicle.
